Established in 1950, UNION Officine Meccaniche s.p.a. is a solid and modern business reality today, leader in the extrusion field for rigid and foam plastic materials, specialized in the construction of complete high-tech extrusion lines and components for implementing existing systems.
UNION is one of the few plant producers that maintained a workshop in its structure with all mechanical processes, which allow the internal construction of the extrusion lines.
UNION produce a wide range of single and twin screw extruders beside complete extrusion lines for rigid films, waterproof geomembranes, flat sheets, rigid and foam profiles, hollow sheets, composite panels of plastic and metal, corrugated and greca sheets, strapping tapes, compound and advanced equipment for the production of foam sheets and boards. As a result of the quality reached along the years with more than 1200 lines installed in 54 countries around the world, our company is nowadays synonymous of reliability, providing technical service to its worldwide customers and solutions with the latest up-to-date high technology.
In 2019, UNION acquired a majority stake of Costruzioni Meccaniche Tecom s.r.l., which is specialized since 1963 in the production of blown extrusion lines for films in polyolefins and compostable biopolymers. In 2022 C.E.B.A. Elettromeccanica s.r.l., specialized in industrial automation and software developing for com-puterized control, joined UNION Group. In this way, by the synergetic aggregation of different knowledge and technologies, UNION continues its path of growth.
