We are Eni's chemical company, committed to a sustainable and circular chemical industry to create value for stakeholders and contribute to the energy transition.

We operate both nationally and internationally in the basic chemicals and intermediates, plastic, rubber and chemistry from renewables sectors. We have committed to a transformation process towards a chemical industry of the future based on portfolio specialization, circularity and biochemistry, with the aim of achieving our decarbonisation targets.

Research plays an fundamental role in our transformation. With 7 research centres, it is devoted to developing projects and technology for innovative solutions, including through integration of technology platforms and partnerships with various players in the supply chain.

We interact with markets by offering a broadly-based, continually-evolving product portfolio for numerous sectors of application, thanks to a wide range of proprietary technology, and being able to rely on an extensive worldwide distribution network and after-sales service.

In the context of circularity, we are carrying forward the development of complementary mechanical and chemical recycling technologies, such as the Hoop® technology for the chemical recycling of mixed plastics, and we have acquired existing plants and technologies for mechanical recycling to accelerate their industrial implementation.

Finally, in order to achieve our transformation, in line with Eni strategy, we have set specific decarbonisation targets.
