SA-M CH Flexible and technologically advanced machine for the production of high-quality medical pouches
The SA-M CH machine can produce high-quality pouches for the medical and pharmaceutical markets.
It can run with medical grade paper, Tyvek®, PET/PE, PA/PE, ALU, PET/PP or coextruded materials, both printed and
unprinted, ensuring high-strength seals.
A wide range of options is available to meet all customers’ needs and offer them tailor-made solutions.
The SA-M CH, with its patented chevron sealing station, is offered in three different sealing widths, 620 mm (24.4”), 920 mm (36.2”) and 1020 (40,1”), guaranteeing the production of the following pouches (according to the configuration):
• Three side seal pouches
• Chevron pouches
• Gusseted chevron pouches
• Self-sealing pouches
• Patch pouches
This machine is fully equipped with Siemens components and is entirely controlled by a state-of- the-art HMI based on Profinet®, one of the most advanced communication protocols. It manages each installed station and tool independently and in real time, thus overseeing the production process. Each station is independent, servo-driven and plug & play.
The SA-M CH modular design allows for customization to meet various production requirements; the machine’s configuration can be upgraded at any time to adapt to new and unpredictable market demands.
ELBA consistently prioritizes its customers’ needs and, given the high energy costs faced by all manufacturers, the SA-M CH has been designed with specialized components that allow the recovery of kinetic energy.
Moreover, the technology mentioned above and the innovative graphic interface enable the SA-M CH to offer different production cycles and a wide range of accessories dedicated to the control and validation of the sealing process:
• Load cells to constantly control the sealing parameters
• Multizone heating elements for a uniform temperature of the sealing area
